On Wednesday the 20th of May 2009, we celebrated fifty one years since the commencement of Stella Maris Catholic Primary School. The anniversary of “Foundation Day” was a wonderful opportunity for the Stella Maris community to reflect upon and celebrate our rich history under the guidance of the Sisters of Charity. It was also a time for us to remember with great pride and honour, our Golden Jubilee which we celebrated last year.

Holy Week began on Monday the 6th of April with a very reverent and prayerful Palm Sunday Liturgy led by Kindergarten. On Holy Thursday, Year 3 led the school in a prayerful enactment of the Lord’s Supper. Later in the day, the solemn Good Friday Liturgy was led by Year 6.
School closed for the Easter holiday break on Thursday the 9th of April.
A message to all from Sr Colleen Mills RSC Principal:
“May you enjoy a blessed and holy Easter and may you truly experience the peace and joy of the Resurrection”.

Once again, the annual Catholic School’s Week provided a week of memorable events in celebration of ‘Catholic Education’. The week began with Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Warilla for the three schools in the ‘All Saints Parish’. During the week, the children participated in a prayerful Liturgy, showcased their talents at a whole school assembly and Kindergarten along with some of their parents enjoyed a creative art workshop. Year 6 attended the ‘Young Leaders Day’ at St Paul’s Catholic School, Albion Park.
